Masterpiece

We should be reluctant to part with our lives only in the sense that the artist is reluctant to part with his unfinished masterpiece.  ~ R’ Shraga Silverstein zt”l

I honestly don’t know. I found it a few years ago and liked it. Beautiful painting.

When we were cleaning out my parent’s house, we found many rolled oil canvasses. According to my mother, one of my father’s non-Jewish clients found them in his warehouse and gave them to my father seeing that they were of Jewish subjects. Some were the same picture painted with slight variations and others were not. Many were signed with names that sounded perhaps Russian.Although, I tried researching the names, I found nothing. We assumed there must have been an art school that left them. I have most framed in my house. If you contact me through my email below, I will privately send you pictures of the others which you might enjoy as well.
