   Great aicltre. There is something to be said about hard work, A.D. Gordon, (philosophy aside,) did make Aliyah and worked in the fields of Israel , standing by his labor zionistic ideas.When you put work in to something you are more connected because , as you said you put your time and effort in to it, also similar to this is building your Sukah and paying someone to build it .
