“If a person falls from his [spiritual] level, he should know that it is something sent to him by the hand of Heaven.  The whole purpose of the rejection is that he should be drawn closer. The reason for the fall is to awaken this individual so that he steps up his efforts to draw closer to G-d.  The proper thing to do is to begin afresh as if you were just starting to serve G-d.
