The Creator’s ways of judgment are too hidden, deep, and exalted for us to arrive at knowledge of their particulars, certainly not of their general principles.  As it says in Scripture: “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts” (Yeshayahu 55:9). ~ Chovos Halevovos
