A talmid of a mussar yeshivah came to R’ Nosson Zvi Finkel zt”l in Hebron to announce his engagement.  R’ Nosson Zvi felt that the boy was too serious, and reprimanded him for not having a pleasant countenance – especially when he had a fiance to consider. ~ Sparks of Mussar
