A Conversation with Hashem

This past shabbos, I heard Rabbi Dr. Aaron Glatt quote a line I posted previously from the Rogotchover Gaon; “When I pray, I talk to God; When I learn [Torah], God talks to me.” But he added something so deep: When we say Shema, which is both Torah and tefilah, it is a true back and forth conversation with Hashem, which makes our daily recitation of Shema that much holier and another reason we must say each word so carefully and with the right kavanah.
