Twenty years after the war, Rav Chaim Kreiswirth informed a “poor” man that he had actually been left a vast fortune in a Swiss bank account. The man believed he was destitute, but in truth, he was rich the whole time.

Rav Chaim commented: 

A Jew is never truly poor. His only poverty is not knowing how much Hashem has already given him, or who he truly is.
