More

We humans have a tendency to always want more.  Therefore it is easy to forget to feel grateful and happy with what we already have.

We should strive to feel a joy that is complete. Lack of joy with what we have is destructive both physically and spiritually. ~ R’ Mordechai Gifter zt”l

It’s all about the 7th day

The Beis Aharon zt’l (p.93:) writes, “The six days [of Pesach] are a preparation for

the seventh day, for the primary day is the seventh day of Pesach, since that is

perfection, the day they said shirah.” Rebbe Mendel of Riminov zt’l said, “I

heard from a gadol, a student of Rebbe Elimelech of Lizensk zy’a, who repeated

in the name of his Rebbe that the time most mesugal for attaining emunah is the

We are all Equal

Every home uses more or less the same type of matzos, as they are all made from the same recipe – flour and water and nothing else. When it comes to challah, every home uses a different recipe. Some use sweet challos, some eat egg challos, and so on. This suggests that on Pesach, everyone is the same: resha’im, tzaddikim, people of high levels, people of low levels, they are all equal in the sense that they can all gain from the Seder. ~ R’ Elimlech Biderman Shlita
