Partner Up!

The Chofetz Chaim teaches that when one has money to give, they have the opportunity to create a lasting asset. Hashem provides a chance to make an investment that yields both principal and dividends in this world and the World to Come. By giving, one cannot lose.

I am once again raising money for an incredible organization, Partners In Torah. I encourage you not only to give but also to join as a student or mentor.

  • As a student, you’ll be paired with a mentor to learn any Torah subject of your choice.
  • As a mentor, you’ll have the extraordinary opportunity to do kiruv and help bring Torah to our fellow Jews.

This is not just for rabbis—it’s for everyone, men and women alike. There is nothing more rewarding, so I encourage you to give it a try. You won’t regret it!

For the next 48 hours, every donation is DOUBLED!

The Primary Chessed

The primary gemilas chasadim, kindness you can do for your fellow man is to feel his pain as though it were your own.

The Victory of the Struggle

We all struggle in different ways.  We all have our tests.

Yaakov wrestled an angel and got hurt, but the struggle itself was the victory.

If you’re fighting on, you’re winning.

The name “Yisrael” means, “you fought and won,” because Hashem wants each and every one of us to face our challenges and keep fighting.

We don’t win by seeing our opponents on the floor, defeated; we win as soon as we start fighting, as soon as we take on the challenge and believe we can win.

Beyond Words

Bitachon in Hashem is greater than all the praises one can say to Hashem.

When the Path Fades

Since the human mind is so limited, one should never question the ways Hashem leads the world. Instead, one must have temimus (simplicity and faith) and believe that everything Hashem does is ultimately for your good… If a person will believe this, he will merit seeing that what he thought was bad was really for his benefit.

You Really Think So?

A chassid told the Kosover Rebbe zt’l he’d be in Zlatipola for Shabbos. The Rebbe replied, “You really think you’ll be there?”

In the end, after facing many obstacles, the chassid returned to Kosov and asked why the Rebbe hadn’t just told him not to go.

The Rebbe explained, “I wasn’t sure you wouldn’t get there, but I noticed how certain you were and didn’t even say im yirtzeh Hashem. So I wondered if you’d succeed.”

The Rebbe added, “As the Torah teaches: ‘If Hashem will be with me…’ One should always say, ‘If Hashem will help,’ and then you will succeed.”

What’s the Point?

The point of a challenging situation is for us to work on our Bitachon.

The goal is not to solve the problem – I am relying on HaShem to solve the problem!

The goal is to strengthen our reliance and closeness to HaShem.
