    Indeed that is the case – sometimes. Other times we may not attain it because we do not need or deserve it. And sometimes it is in fact a punishment.

    Whatever the case, we must always believe that Hashem is the dayan emes, the ultimate judge, He knows what is best for us, and He knows what He’s doing.

    In that respect, what He gives us is always best.

    Exactly. very well said. I don’t remember where i saw this quote. For all i know, it was sent via email and is not from a Jewish source. However, i was thinking along those same lines that everything is for the best. so when Hashem takes something away, it is because that is what is best. Reading it back, that might be a little bit of a stretch, but anyway, you are 100% right. thanks!
