Why are you quoting a Buddhist monk??

I don’t like to not give credit where credit is due. I noticed on other Jewish websites, they will quote non-Jews, but leave out the source. To me that is almost like stealing. I always try to provide the source when possible. As to why I picked this quote know he was not Jewish, I think I saw it in a D’var Torah, but the source was left out. It is something we can learn from even if the author is not Jewish. I can’t think of the source right now, but I think there is a gemara which states that we can learn from the goyim. I don’t see any issue here. But if I am wrong, let me know and I apologize.
