Every Person

Our Sages teach, “Greet every person with a pleasant countenance” (Pirkei Avos 1:15). The Mishnah specifically uses the all-encompassing term “every person” because it includes ourselves. No matter how many mistakes and failures we have, we are obligated to still accept ourselves and love ourselves exactly the way we are. ~ Rabbi Meyer Bodner
