Prayer has to come from your heart.  It’s got to come from, “Hashem, I don’t need this, I don’t need that, I just need You!” 

If that’s your prayer, you don’t even have to tell Him what you need.  Because if my daughter says, “Dad, I love you more than anything else in the world, I just need you,” I’ll take care of what she needs.

She won’t have to ask me. I’ll ask her what she needs.
