When a person davens, his deeds are examined to see whether he deserves that his requests be granted. 

However, when one praises Hashem, his praises can’t be stopped. Hashem wants to listen to these praises. 

Therefore, the wise pray to Hashem by praising Him. These tefillos will undoubtedly go up to Heaven and will be answered.
