Struggle is not the opposite of growth, it is part of growth. ~ R’ Yitzchok Hutner zt”l

What’s Your Path?

People’s personalities are varied. You must find your own path in Avodas Hashem, through becoming aware of how you can apply your unique personality and character to excel in a life of Torah & Mitzvos. ~ Tiferes Shlomo of Radomsk

Why Did I do That?

Spiritual failures serve the purpose of compelling us to ever greater levels of resolve and commitment to avodas Hashem.” ~ R’ Ephraim of Sudlikov

Good Times & Bad Times

There are no good times and bad times; there are only happy times when a Jew chooses to be b’simcha, and sad times when we don’t see that everything happens for a reason. All that we experience in our lives is the same will of Hashem — it just depends on how we receive it. ~ Baal Shem Tov

Faulty Character Traits

“If a person wants to please everyone, he will end up pleasing no one.”

The Midrash calls the monarchy of Achashvairosh “a monarchy based on flattery.” At first, to meet the demands of his close advisors, the king executed his wife, Vashti. Then, to satisfy the demands of others who felt that this was wrong, King Achashvairosh killed his previous advisers. This is a powerful lesson in the negative consequences of faulty character traits. ~ R’ Yeruchem Levovitz zt”l

All Day

A very special moment of Yom Kippur is when we say Keser (in Kedusha).

What a Yid can accomplish by the Keser on Yom Kippur, can be achieved throughout the entire day of Purim!

~ The Arizal

In addition to davening in shul, set aside some time over Purim to be alone and to ask Hashem for anything and everything!

Make this List + Special Segulah for Today

Please make a list of everyone you want to give mishloach manos to on Purim.

Then throw it out.

Now give to the people who didn’t make it on the list.

Because that’s what Purim is all about.

~ R’ Moshe Meir Weiss

Furthermore, it is written in the holy book, Kav Hayosher, that today, Taanis Esther is a day that is mesugal for tefilos to be answered in the zechus of Mordechai and Esther.

Whoever needs Divine Assistance – rachamim – compassion from Above for anything should say Kapitel 22 in Tehilim (Click here for tehillim 22)

Then, they should pour out their heart to Hashem and ask for whatever is needed and mention the zechus of Mordechai and Esther.

The Shaarei Rachamim will be opened and the tefilos will be accepted.

Don’t let this opportunity go by.

The Treasuries are Open

The Kedushas Levi tells a mashal of a king who opens his treasuries for one day and allows all citizens to come and take whatever they desire.  Someone who sleeps on that day is a fool. He could have earned so much but squandered the opportunity.

Purim is approaching. We can acquire so much on this day – ruchniyos and gashmiyos, all our heart’s desires. The wise take advantage of this day, but the fools let the day pass unproductively. ~ R’ Elimelech Biderman
